Who are we?

We are self organized group of Serbians and supporters who gather every Saturday to send our support to students in Serbia who are fighting for justice, freedom and human rights.

Why now?

On November 1 2024 at 11:52 am in Novi Sad, Serbia, the canopy of the railway station collapsed, claiming 15 lives.

Serbian people around the world sent their support to the best and the brightest back home, and now its time for us to do the same!

What do we do?

We stand in silence for 15 minutes to honor the 15 lives, some of them children, lost in the tragedy caused by corruption in Novi Sad.

Support doesn't recognize borders

What are students asking for?

  1. Publishing of all documents related to the reconstruction of the Novi Sad railway station
  2. Identifying individuals for whom there is a reasonable suspicion of physically assaulting students and professors, and initiating criminal proceedings against them
  3. The dismissal of criminal charges against arrested and detained students at protests, as well as the termination of already initiated criminal proceedings
  4. 20% increase in the higher ed budget

The protests continue to receive attention from domestic and international media as hundreds of thousands University professors, educators, doctors, farmers, regular civilians, and Serbian people around the world continue to donate money, food and resources to support the students. Students' actions led to them getting nominated for Nobel Peace Prize.

And so, Serbia's powerful populist government is facing the biggest challenge ever!
